Uma Das Munshi is the CEO and co-founder of Alpha Healthcare Management. With nearly 25 years of LTC experience, Uma plays an unparalleled role as the visionary, manager, and growth driver at the helm of the company. As CEO, Uma keeps all of Alpha Healthcare’s moving parts running smoothly. Her focus on innovation and excellence leads Alpha Healthcare towards the goal of exceptional long-term care and patient-first service. Uma’s leadership is built on strong personal relationships and investment in trusted relationships that enables her to encourage employee strengths and allow junior employees to fulfill their potential. Uma’s background includes and established career in LTC spanning o9ver two decades. Over the years, she progressed from her initial Physical Therapist career towards oversight of SNF, Homecare and ALF. In leadership positions in various LTC companies she has provided turn around efforts and strategic leadership to pivot companies towards patient care driven models. As COO of Athena Healthcare she oversaw all operations and clinical aspects of care for LTC facilities AS a board member in CT state association, she had the opportunity to work in some strong grass root movements for LTC policies. In her last position as CSO and COO at Hill Valley Healthcare she oversaw the strategic growth of LTC facilities in multiple state4s including RI, NY, Virginia and other states. In her ongoing consulting capacity she has been closely involved in operations with multiple facilities in RI, MA, CT and Missouri. Uma Das Munshi holds an MBA following her BS in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University.
