Having operated in 23 of 50 states, managing portfolios with as many as 113 facilities across 11 states, Melissa offers expansive LTC knowledge and evidenced based systems proven to drive operational initiatives as relates to Clinical Reimbursement, and Quality Measures. Trial experience as a Legal Nurse consultant and most recently achieved certification as a Professional Medical Auditor. Developed and executed educational platforms related to industry transitions to MDS 3.0 in 2010 and PDPM in 2019. Ability to effectively educate all IDT members throughout organizational levels providing practical resources and strategies. Proven success in revenue optimization under state and federal regulation and methodology including PDPM, CMI, MMQ and RUG driven managed Care products. Proficient in the use of all Microsoft products, Web trainings, and Point Click Care. Additional EHR experience with AHT, Matrix and Net Solutions, High level capability to develop and launch systems/processes and reporting structures.
